Actually New

A calm fortnightly guide to what technology can really do now, and what you can safely ignore.

What it is

Every two weeks, a short letter about the few developments in AI and frontier technology that changed what people or machines can do. It is written for curious, busy people who do not want following the industry to become a hobby.

What you get

Four to six developments, explained in plain English: what happened, what is actually new, why it matters, and what is still uncertain. It takes five to eight minutes to read.

What it leaves out

Hype, benchmarks, funding rounds, and the feeling that you are falling behind. When something is loud but unimportant, it says so.
